The Ability to Customize
We at Seawright Homes, Manager of the Harvest Hill series at The Orchard at New Market, pride
ourselves in being an experienced, conscientious builder, astute in recognizing
and including the features that maximize the value of your single family
home. Yet, while our selection of included design
features and finishes reflect our best efforts to anticipate your
needs, – many years of experience in home building
continually reaffirms that each customer has their own unique requirements.
A broad range of pre-designed and pre-priced optional features and plan
modifications cannot anticipate each customer’s imagination, individualized
needs, preferences and budget. Therefore we encourage our customers to
share with us special design, equipment, finish or space requirements
that are not shown as part of our plans or pre-designed optional selections.
We welcome your ideas for customization, including the routine changes
associated with lighting, hardware, plumbing, cabinetry, painting and
floor covering or expanding rooms, decks and porches, as well as changes
related to one–of–a kind needs. Examples of such changes include
making a home "barrier free" to promote "aging in place",
building kitchens and bathrooms that are fully handicapped accessible,
or designed and equipped for an extreme degree of physical disability.
Similarly, such changes might involve adding an interior elevator or stair
lift or providing two or more private living areas within a single home
to promote intergenerational living. In short, if you communicate your
needs to us, we have the experience, access to design resources, and the
imagination to respond creatively and cost–effectively.
